OLA90:
Ninety Days of Devotion
Join Us for OLA 90: Ninety Days of Devotion
August 15 - November 15, 2024

Now, more than ever, is a time when our Church, our Nation, and the World need to be lifted in prayer. We need the Peace, Mercy, and Love of Christ to center us.
OLA90: 90 Days of Devotion offers each of us the opportunity to be centered on Christ! While we cannot eliminate the broader tension due to the election – and other tensions in our lives and the world - we can commit to keeping our focus on what matters.
Led by Deacon Bill Kester, Deacon Mat Mathews, and Kevin O’Toole, we want to come together as a parish community and focus our lives on Christ along with our sisters and brothrs in our OLA family.
Beginning on our patronal feast day, the Assumption on August 15th and ending with the memorial date of Marist founder Jean Claud Colin on November 15th we will journey together.
The 90 days of devotion include:

-
Sunday Devotion: Attend Mass.

-
Monday-Wednesday-Friday Devotion: Spend at least one holy hour in prayer such as praying the rosary or chaplet or joining us in the Daily Chapel for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Adoration resumes on Wednesday, September 4th. The Daily Chapel is open for prayer every weekday from 8am-3:30pm.

-
Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday Devotion: Read from the Book of Exodus.

-
Three Times a Week: Exercise! Our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit therefore we pray with our entire being.

-
Sacrifice: We'll offer suggestions on how to fast from the all consuming things that can pull us away from our spiritual health.

You're Not Alone in Your Devotion!

-
You'll have a Prayer Partner to join you on the way! You'll be in contact regularly and hold one another accountable. You can choose to pray together or separately. We'll be teaming up women with women, men with men, but spouses can certainly journey together.

-
An Email with Devotions will be sent each evening for you to reflect on the following day.
We hope that you'll join us - and your OLA family - as we dedicate ourselves to deepen our personal relationships with Christ, with one another, with our OLA Community, and with the world!
