#iGiveCatholic 2024 | December 3rd
#iGiveCatholic (on Giving Tuesday) is the U.S. Catholic Church’s Giving Day that kicks off the charitable season and brings the Catholic community together to give thanks and give back.
Over the past years the #igiveCatholic campaign has allowed us to install a livestreaming system in the church, pressure wash the church, purchase new tables and chairs for Moylan Hall along with a new sound system and acoustical tiles! All of this was only possible through your generosity!
As we prepare for the pipe organ installation and this new chapter in our Music Ministry, it is time to update our hymnals for the first time in almost 15 years. We are going to replace our outdated Gather III books with a brand-new publication called The Parish Hymnal, in time for the 1st Sunday of Advent, or the start of our new liturgical year. We also plan to supplement this with Oregon Catholic Press’s Spirit & Song as a contemporary option.
These hymnals will give our congregations exciting new opportunities and music choices for our liturgies.
Therefore, this year we are hoping to raise $30,000 to purchase our new hymnals. It is our hope that we are able to raise these funds on this year's Giving Tuesday through #iGiveCatholic at https://atlanta.igivecatholic.org/organizations/our-lady-of-the-assumption-catholic-church.
