Mary's Grotto @ OLA | Gruta de María @ OLA

It has long been the dream of our Indonesian Community to create a grotto dedicated to the Blessed Mother on the hillside between the church and steps the parish office.

Over the summer parishioner Liam O'Toole prepared the area for the grotto and added benches for his Eagle Scout Project.

Mary arrived from overseas yesterday and was unboxed today! She's truly lovely.

In the coming weeks our Indonesian brothers and sisters will work on a landscaping plan to make this a true space for prayer and reflection.

Durante mucho tiempo el sueño de nuestra comunidad indonesia ha sido crear una gruta dedicada a la Santísima Madre en la ladera entre la iglesia y las escaleras de la oficina parroquial.

Durante el verano, el feligrés Colin O'Toole preparó el área para la gruta y agregó bancos para su Proyecto Eagle Scout.

¡Mary llegó ayer del extranjero y hoy la desempaquetaron! Ella es realmente encantadora.

En las próximas semanas nuestros hermanos y hermanas indonesios trabajarán en un plan de paisajismo para hacer de este un verdadero espacio de oración y reflexión.
